The Splitstream Fuel tank filter prevents all dirt and foriegn objects entering the EFI system by filtering any fuel through a specially designed nylon filter, that sits in the fuel tank at all times.
Modern EFI MX bikes need fresh, clean fuel even more than the traditionally aspirated machines due to the fuel pump in the EFI fuel system. Sand, debris or any foreign bodies in the fuel can cause the fuel pumps and injector nozzles to block up and malfunction, meaning costly repairs and relacement parts.
The Splitstream Fuel tank filter prevents all dirt and foriegn objects entering the EFI system by filtering any fuel through a specially designed nylon filter, that sits in the fuel tank at all times. Just drop the fuel tank filter in the tank, there is a machined collar that rests on the lip of the fuel tank filler hole. No modification to tank required.
