SPLITSTREAM VELOCITY INSERT TUBE for CRF 450R 2009 

New from Splitstream comes the Velocity Insert Tube, developed specifically for the 2009 CRF 450R EFI System.

 

The Splitstream Velocity Insert Tube is a Venturi which is installed in the back of the 2009 CRF 450 Throttle Body, reducing the stock 50mm throttle body diameterfor increased power across the power curve particularly inthe bottom to midrange of theengine.The boost in torque will keep riders from popping the clutch out of corners, contributing toward longer clutch life.

Please note results may vary depending on engine modifications.

Ignition mapping will require retuning to suit the Velocity tube.

 

After exhaustive testing and prototyping the Splitstream Velocity Insert Tube is ready for the 2009 CRF 450R, with an increase in air Velocity of 25 Percent making the already competitive CRF 450 that much better.
